Actually looking at the accounts again what is the massive rise in professional fees - are we paying for Jonathan Jowett’s legal advice, I can’t get my head around what it would be for as we apparently ditched Muckle’s in 2016.

I dunno whether there would be expense due to these things would fall under legal / professional fees;

- ground improvement
- contract stuff (losing one manager plus staff / hiring another)

I think legal and professional would include:

Accounting costs for doing year end accounts
Various legal advice around player contracts

I think it’s a good idea to put some sort of commentary together on the figures for members to understand the figures better.

The accountancy fees are shown separately at £9,000 and the other item you've mentioned wouldn't explain the huge increase from one season to the next.

Seems a big jump without those fees in, needs a narrative I think.

The playing costs are very high and a 80k loss is big, unsustainable in the long term.

The loss includes depreciation so not really as bad as it sounds, although yes it's not sustainable hence the challenges we have had this season.
