Spam / new forum

Afternoon all,
Just a quick note to apologise for the increase in spam on here lately - and for anyone who's been getting the screen telling them they're blocked for spam - innocent victims of the crossfire I'm currently involved in. Spambots seem to have dialled up across the whole internet - a lot of our clients at work are getting them coming through contact and customer registration forms too.
I've put some measures into place at registration which will hopefully stop them (for about five minutes, probably...) - and between seasons this year, I'm going to be moving Uncovered to a completely new forum platform which will hopefully have some more up to date spam protections available to it. Going to take a while to decide which one, but it won't be phpBB (not that it's their fault we're in this mess - I just think there are better ones out there now)
