So, Kneeshaw and...

If we're signing a left back (we already have O'Hanlon and Kokolo), I'd say that paves the way for O'Hanlon to be sold?

Totally agree, will find out this morning but will be amazed if O'Hanlon is still a Darlo player.

Probably the most significant signing the club will make

how do you know we are signing two players ... completely out of the blue a defender, do we really need one?

Well if one leaves, then yes we would do.

*If* this is true, I think the defender would be a replacement on a one in one out.

In the Echo this morning.

And yep, if the new defender comes in, presumably either Kokolo or O'Hanlon will be off.

Wonder if Kneeshaw's international clearance is already sorted.

O'Hanlon isn't contracted for next season is he? So perhaps cutting our losses with whatever we can. I can't imagine Kokolo going anywhere, i assume he's here for free anyway.

O'Hanlon was going to Kiddy a few weeks ago but it hit a snag. Presumably he'll be off now.
From a NL club. Pooly or Gateshead possibly?

The defender is reported to be Aaron Cunningham of Hartlepool, played excellent against us for Blyth earlier in the season.

Reported by whom?

You mean someone said on twitter.

It's not Cunningham.

Good news. Looks like it's until the end of the season but with a view to next season if all works out.

Will be interesting to see what formation we go with tomorrow, esp with Hughes back and wanting to play. It looked like a 4-4-2 v Bishop with Henshall on the left and Thommo on the right, with Ainge and Harvey up front? A bit like how we finished at Curzon Ashton. I presume they’ll revert to 3-5-2 and play Hughes at the back with Smith and Tez but if he’s also signing a left back then maybe we’ve stumbled on a formation change.
Up front is more straightforward as we need to plan for life post-Harvey

If Kneeshaw replaces Harvey, will we have to start calling him Wilson?

No pressure Wilson but 5 goals tomorrow wouldn't go amiss :D

Will be interesting to see how much fitter Hughes will be as he could be an option in midfield as well

No. Wilson sounds too much like a surname. He's going to need a nickname.

Hopefully turns out well, I remember one game that was televised where he hit the bar twice in the space of a minute with two long throw ins. Obviously they wouldn’t have counted but hopefully we can utilise them with the return of Hughes

You can see the throws from about 0:50 onwards: https://youtu.be/m6IuUBfeprk

Great to have Hughes back in contention, although may be a bit early for him to start & probably better to ease him back via the bench rather than straight 90 minutes. He is capable of playing a number of positions and gives TW plenty of options, especially if he comes off the bench, for example as replacement for Ainge or a CB, even midfield.

Also happy to see Kneeshaw getting another chance as he could fill the slot when HS leaves for Fleetwood and until then, he provides another attacking option up front.

Nice to see recognition of Galbraith & his services being secured for another 12 month.

Puzzled as to the left-sided signing if it is Sam Muggleton, but could be the kind of defensive to put beef into mid-field. Good to have Palmer extending his loan period. Either way, it appears that it helps to provide cover if O'Hanlon leaves.

Just as important is the arrival of the new finance director. We need to keep improving both on and off the pitch.

You beat me to it 2807. He has an amazing throw, can tackle and put in a decent cross. Considering he's played 18 times this season I can't believe he's come to us.

Signed by Martin Allen at Chesterfield who has since left meaning Muggleton has been made surplus to requirements. I’m sure Chesterfield broke two records this season - the longest unbeaten run and the longest winless run both clocked up concurrently

Not sure where O'Hanlon and Kokolo fit into the team if Muggleston gets the nod. This guy can put a throw in from the halfway line into the 6 yard box, seen him do it for York and could be some weapon for Hughes and Ainge.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Muggleton used from the bench more often than not
