Well paid...they get £34 and was in all likelihood out of the house for 8 to 10 hours including travel.
I guess I was more challenging some theory over being 'well paid'. I'm not sure many would do it for that sort of money.

In fact the debate has come up before "why don't ex player become match officials" see above. Some have given it a go and then given up on realising what they will be paid.

Can I just clarify as it was me the Linesman made a comment too, I asked him about all the bookings for Darlo and letting chorley off and why he would not flag when we were fouled, his reply was shut up you doyle. He did not swear and he had been getting a lot of stick off others.

my view - offered a point at the start of the game i think most would have taken it. Being 1-0 up going into injury time and coming away woith a point is frustrating.

The substitutions changed the game but there was no real choice but to make the substitutions.

Now, what side and shape is TW going to go for v Telford. I bet he changes it

if he's forced to change it through injury / fitness, then it'd be nice of him to explain this so we know it's not him tinkering.
