Tonight’s games
Hopefully tonight’s results will go our way and maintain that gap.

Re: Tonight’s games
Ashton losing = good. Guiseley holding Curzon; better if the were losing.
Now 3-1 against York.

Re: Tonight’s games
Some good, some bad. We seriously don’t want to lose tomorrow night.
Re: Tonight’s games
Could have been a worse set of results. I'm happier Guiseley won than FCUM - to be honest, it's getting to the stage of the season where I don't really care what the teams between us and the relegation places do as long as we maintain a gap between us and 20th place. If Guiseley and Leamington catch us fair enough, as long as, at 4.50pm on the last day of the season, there's a gap between us and 20th (and at the moment I'd happily take a gap of a one goal difference in GD - sorry state of affairs, no doubt, but we just need to see out this season without getting relegated.)
Re: Tonight’s games
Still in our own hands, but need 3pts v Chester plus at least another win from remaining fixtures to be safe.

Re: Tonight’s games
I hope we do get something out of tonight's game as a draw would restore the 10 point gap with one less game to go. So if we were positive about the state of affairs after Saturday's result we should be even more happy with this. A win, however, would give us a four game advantage over FC United, which would demand they win 4 out of 6 minimum. That would be a tough ask for a team that must be very hard hit by the way last night went. Mid way through the second half, when they were winning 3-1 and Guiseley were drawing 0-0, they were within one point of getting out of the relegation zone. By the end of the games the gap to safety had become 5 points. That they lost their lead at home to York's 10 men must be another blow to their confidence. If Darlo had just had that result just imagine how down and frustrated we would feel.
Whatever the result tonight I think not losing to FC in our next home game would be enough anyway as by then they will be in the last chance saloon and, as we have seen ourselves, that can make a bad situation a whole lot worse. I listened to the Radio York broadcast last night and they gave a lot of credit to the way FC played and wondered at why, when looking so positive in attack, they were in the position they are in. But they also noted the fragility of their defence and that their team were always on the edge of running out of energy. They seem the sort of side, again like ourselves, that can look OK given a lead and a bit of confidence, but go to pieces if they go behind.

Re: Tonight’s games
I'd take a point tonight, really looking forward to the game.
Re: Tonight’s games
Me too. Haven’t thought that for a while. Maybe Chorley when I persuaded a load of lads from work to come down.

Re: Tonight’s games
Tonight there was only one team on the pitch and we had 11 players who were strangers & individuals, no formation or plans. Another great disappointment which keeps us in the mire.
