When is the deadline?

I've matched mine from this season but like others may top it up slightly.

Another £1,600 today, including a single investment of £910.

Now at £56,707.

15 days to go. New manager over the weekend and another push to reach the target.

If the same 400+ of last year contribute at the same rate as has been made so far the boost could reach 100,000.

    Some queries about BTB:-

    (1) Is the BTB deadline date fixed, or is it like Brexit? ;)

    (2) Have we fixed the managerial interview shortlist or can we add someone who has recently become available ( but not Theresa May  )?

    (3) If we had charged every applicant a nominal fee (say £100) could we have made our target much quicker and reduced some of the nuggets who did apply?

Seriously, respect to everyone responsible for setting it up and contributors. Any prospective manager must be impressed by fans' commitment

I can see you did not come top of sums at school.
Last year 418 investors raised £85008 at an average investment of £203
This year average investment is £216, if the same 418 invest then we will reach Just over £90,000.
Still mighty impressive, and even more so when the average investment has gone up. Lets hope we can still get 418 investors or more.

I think that we'll get £90,000+ this year, as there are people holding off until the new manager is appointed, others who are waiting until the end so they can be part of the end of the month rush, yet others who are considering increasing their pledge etc.

We are well ahead of the same point which we were at last season.

If we raised £100,000 that would be unbelievably good.

Assuming there is a new manager bounce, we look like we will beat last years amount, which is staggering considering how tedious last season was. To get anywhere near it would be an impressive achievement.

    Indeed.

I bet the club were dreading mooting this year's BTB after last year's on the field flop. I presumed that it would be a very tough sell and didn't even dare contemplate a figure.

What the club have done right this year is they have taken away the link between the amounts raised and on field targets, which was a very wise move.

It's simply a case of we hope to raise again what we did last year to go towards the running of the club. Raising 56k already shows that plenty of fans are genuinely interested in maintaining the year to year financial security and solvency of the club, not just chasing promotions.

Which makes me think just how fortunate we are as a club to have David Johnson and his ever more impressive team in charge of DFC.

I'm no mathematician but there's only two thirds who put in last time so far and we're almost three quarters of the way there. We've chucked in for everything else so far and I'm optimistic we'll get to £80,000. Think there should be a pinned tweet on the club twitter and maybe something on here at the top of the board?

Hardly been an avalanche of pledges since the news broke.Maybe the undecided are waiting to see what the quality of Armstrong’s signings are before diving in.
Been a hell of an effort so far though.

Looking at the way the total is now soaring towards the target, there is clearly a lot of faith and trust in the appointment.

£63,098 in there now, so less than 17k to go.

    I think we've raised about 4.5k today

Still, think there are lots of us out there waiting till the end of the month.
Can this boost the budget pitch be put on the main page of this forum rather than outdated pitches that have been on for ages ie the mind bucket collection and tin shed board appeal?
