Let us hope that like AA he goes back to his old club to raid some players like erm......Burn, Glover?
"Giving Yoof a chance" means five 16 year olds on the bench, very few will actually play, or am I being too harsh?
Think its southern premier central. In sure they were involved in a play off farce where the game was postponed a few times due to some investigation. Thats there claim to fame i guessDarlo_Pete wrote:What division are Stratford playing in? Good luck to TW hope he proves the doubters wrong.

So do we!!!Wiseacre wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2019 5:07 pmPlenty of scope for Bardish banter in Tommy's new job. What about 'some falls are means the happier to rise' or 'happy are they who can bear their detractions, and can put them to mending'? Good luck to him anyway and lets hope we can draw them in the cup, Tommy's teams often stumble in knock-outs.
Yeah,Shakespeare.Makes about as much sense as Tommy boys tacticsWiseacre wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2019 5:07 pmPlenty of scope for Bardish banter in Tommy's new job. Some folk must be turning out drawers in order to cash in by selling some previously loved bannersLoidLucan wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2019 5:35 pmTW seems to be in a right old mess at Stratford. At the weekend they released 5 players and recalled 2 who had been out on loan for just a week and have fielded a total of 29 players in 9 games. They recently went out of the FA Cup at the first time of asking when they were tonked 4-1 by a lower league team. Fans have been complaining about a hopelessly chaotic defence and weak midfield and the first Tommy Out posts have started already
Dodgy defence, feeble midfield, no coherent strategy, constant chopping and changing, TW with no idea about his strongest XI.LoidLucan wrote:TW seems to be in a right old mess at Stratford. AA and TW are like chalk and cheese, Alun has got the team spirit back with a great dressing room, sadly Tommy lost this completely and it showed.MCFCDarlo3 wrote:Its a shame for TW but I met some Corby directors in Chesham last season (on my way to Wembley with City again) and they liked him but said there was no way he would be brought back as a manager.
Dont think hes cut out for it, sames principles in business, you have to be organised and strategic and he is neither.
Do hope it works out for him but cant see it.
VIBE???.We don’t have any vibe. There was none left after Spendy scooped it all up a couple of seasons backWiseacre wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 9:12 amI think AA has shown his experience and ability in the dressing room because the vibes and spirit are really kicking in. There's no way a Tommy team would have got Saturdays result but it's all history now - as we're all in a better mood this week let's wish him all the best. My view is that he would do better learning his trade as someone's number two, as our other esteemed ex is looking for a job they could team up. Maybe at Newcastle as they'll be looking for someone soon.
Wiseacre is correct, 'good' vibes are starting to emanate around the club now.Emdubya wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 9:26 amVIBE???.We don’t have any vibe. There was none left after Spendy scooped it all up a couple of seasons backWiseacre wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 9:12 amI think AA has shown his experience and ability in the dressing room because the vibes and spirit are really kicking in. What we do have is a group of decent players who want to play for the club and the manager and are not just interested in the £££££.

"There was none left after Spendy scooped it all up couple of seasons back" does not make any sense.
The reaction of players, fans, and manager after Saturday's win is proof that the atmosphere or positive vibe around the club is back.
Under Wright there was never any such vibe.
Agree that wright would do better to be a number two. He has many endearing qualities but needs to learn the business of football management.
I shouldn't give up your day job then to become a stand-up.Emdubya wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 1:07 pmIts called humour mate. You should try it sometime.banktopp wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 10:31 amWiseacre is correct, 'good' vibes are starting to emanate around the club now.Emdubya wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 9:26 amVIBE???.We don’t have any vibe. There was none left after Spendy scooped it all up a couple of seasons backWiseacre wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 9:12 amI think AA has shown his experience and ability in the dressing room because the vibes and spirit are really kicking in.
