Really looking forward to go down to Harrogate on Friday evening. I really enjoy seeing us playing higher opposition especially away from home. Is anybody else planning to make the trip?

It'll be good to see you my friend. Hopefully one of my sons will be joining me as well.

Well we won't be that far apart, hope you pick up a win at Leeds. But you'll have to have improved a hell of a lot from last weeks performance.

Good game and lots more optimism than the start of last season.
Just need to gel a little in the final third.
Lads gave their all and we did not look that far apart from Harrogate Town.

Very positive performance. Final third still needs work. Holmes, Rivers and Tommo worked really well together, Campbell made better runs tonight. Only real negative was use of subs, I’d have liked to have seen others given 15-20 mins rather than 1-13 but understand AA trying to keep a good scoreline.

Enjoyed that a lot.

How did the trial players fair?

One of them was a Bermudan international. Wonder if It's one of John Woolnough's contacts.

Osagi did well spraying the ball and demanding it but only got 13 mins. The trialist JD really caught my eye. Fast and good positioning. Tevahn only got a few minutes on the pitch and didn’t touch the ball. That was my one disappointment that we didn’t get to see more, particularly of Tev as Campbell was tired.

Well Holmes was very good last night as were all players I think we are in for a very good season
Couldn't fault anyone all players were 110% committed to the cause, really looking forward to the new season.

Really enjoyed the game, didn't think anyone had a poor game. Team full of running till the end and by far the best of the 2 teams in last 25 mins or so. Played some excellent football at times and great goal from Rivers. Agree the trialist Jason Donawa looked really useful, good control, won his headers, willing to take players on, although a winger apparently think he could be a good option to mix it up with Cameron and Thommo up front. Cameron made some great runs but we have still to get attuned to them to get the best out of him.

Really looking forward to this season

Yes like others have said very positive performance last night. Thought Holmes was excellent, but Trotman was outstanding and looked the best player on the pitch. Great to see him all smiles, he looks committed, Thought the Darlo fans turn out was excellent, around 150 made the trip.
