If it's Leamington it means the fa have immediately put the brakes on our cup run.

True, and all leaving a still pain of a trek to the ground.biccynana wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 8:02 pmLichfield, Hednesford, Cannock, and Landywood stations all pretty much equidistant - 5/6/7 miles away.EDJOHNS wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 7:38 pmNever used trains round there but I would think Lichfield or Cannock are they not not? OK they are mid table at the moment, but have games in hand that will have them hit the play off spots if they win them.
In The Scholars Ground they have a tight quite intimidating ground and in the cup have had some good runs over the last few years.
Plenty of good pubs in Brownhills for those heading down early.

Not to Chasetown they don't, but the fact they do to Leam has already been discussed and information posted.spen666 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2019 7:57 amEDJOHNS wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2019 7:48 amTrue, and all leaving a still pain of a trek to the ground.biccynana wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 8:02 pmLichfield, Hednesford, Cannock, and Landywood stations all pretty much equidistant - 5/6/7 miles away.EDJOHNS wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 7:38 pmNever used trains round there but I would think Lichfield or Cannock are they not not? The Leamington Supporters Trust used to ( & I think still do) run busses from the station to the ground and back again afterwards
Last year we were all over them and 2-0 up. They had a player sent off and we were lucky to draw in the end.JasonDeVos wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 8:26 pmLeamington always hold their own in the league and can beat anyone on their day. Dangerous team if it’s them.
Is that the away form that just comprehensively won us a FA cup game for the first time in years.
Here we go again they aren't anything special.. Are we at this moment in time I'd say NO , So let's not get a head of our selves... Which ever team we play it WILL be toughbanktopp wrote:Is that the away form that just comprehensively won us a FA cup game for the first time in years.
Leamington are nothing special.
The penny's dropped - you mean for the cup tie against us, week on Sat. The answer is still I dunno, mind, but someone here will
I take your point, but Leamington are pretty much in the same place as last year when they finished in 13th place, whereas I believe we are in a false position due to multiple injuries. Under Wright last year at Leamington we threw away a 2 goal lead, one of many such games he mismanaged, but this season despite players missing we are fitter, better organised, and with a team spirit that was lacking last season. I believe we have enough to win this tie and progress through to the 4th qualifying round, perhaps after a replay, and don't forget the monkey is off our back now.HarrytheQuaker wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2019 10:49 amHere we go again they aren't anything special..
