Didn’t last long! I think he may need to make a sideways step. Youth coach perhaps?
Mr Singh said this " I'm not expecting to get back any of the money I've already put in, I'm prepared to write it off for the future of the club. I'm not hanging in to make any kind of financial gain in the short or long term - if someone was prepared to come in and take the club off my hands, I'd be more than willing to discuss it"

Did he get a fair crack of the whip there? Don't know what his brief was at interview having said that, nor their budget.

When he was appointed, TW said: "It’s in my remit to get people through the gates and generate that interest. When people come through the door they need to be entertained and want to come back and that’s something I’m looking to achieve."

He built his own side but their form in the league has been patchy at best and fans have been complaining about a completely disorganised side, often wide open at the back. Players have been coming and going at the rate of knots. They were hammered by a lower league side in the FA Cup and on Saturday they had a 'crowd' of 170.

It's not hard to see why this has happened.

on a personal level, not nice to see anyone out of work. perhaps he needs to find a job as assistant / number two to an experienced manager and learn from them before trying management again?

He is at Mansfield. Was doing this alongside Stratford.

Outrageous to call for Wright's sacking. In Tommy we trust. Who would you replace him with? He's showing signs of turning things around.

Sorry, thought we'd gone back in time there.

Funny thought,
When they were locked out of Masons rd in the mid 90's for owing rent to the council they would have thought 170 through the gate was a lottery win. How people's perceptions of where they belong and their size as a club change when someone dangles a few bob at them.

I'm sorry for him, on a personal level he's a very nice bloke. He may well even be a good coach (i've no idea), but i get the distinct impression he is not a capable football manager. Possibly he went into management too early, and needed some experience as a coach and number 2 first.

Hopefully he has a good career in the coaching business. But i'm glad he's not in charge here any more. The difference between him and Armstrong is night and day.

Yes, how many times have we debated/questioned formations and set-ups on the forum this year compared to last year?

I think we have had the odd post from a few people in particular debating if we are playing 4-4-2 or 4-3-1-2, 4-3-2-1 etc etc.

Don't know if this was by "mutual consent" but they're still 7th after a hiding from Lowestoft (19th) at the weekend. Wish him well, no hard feelings here.

Tamworth are 7th. Stratford are 12th with 4 wins from 11 league games. They said they sacked him because of disappointing results and performances in league and cup.

Sorry to hear that Tommy has been sacked, I wish him good luck in finding another job in football management very soon & he finally proves the doubters all wrong. All the best Tommy.

In this case the doubters are probably right. Not everyone is cut out to be a football manager and even fewer are cut out to be a successful one. I'd struggle to make a case for him.

Fair comment Loid, must have Tamworth on my mind for some reason!
