Tamworth V Darlington Match Thread
This game is massive so it deserves its own match thread.
Fully expect the line up today to be the same as on Saturday, hopefully Thompson is fit enough to make the bench. Make no mistake this game is going to be tough, travelling support will be excellent, always a bit of luck needed in the FA cup so fingers crossed for the win

Re: Tamworth V Darlington Match Thread
I think the only change I would make is bring Hedley back in to the back 4.

See you there Ron. Bring the baby. If it gets nervous there's a big car park to go and walk around.

Re: Tamworth V Darlington Match Thread
Against Boston we lined up as follows;
Connell.
Liddle Storey Galbraith Watson.
Wheatley Hatfield Holness ,
Rivers O'Neill Campbell.
Available to day we will have Laing Thompson Hedley Donawa Bascome Bell Holliday Elliott. (if all fit)
So we have a much strengthened squad to choose from than in the Boston game.
Do we make changes? Its a tough question.

Wheatley Hatfield Holness ,

Re: Tamworth V Darlington Match Thread
Whichever way he goes today it’ll be a massively strong bench today. Lots to call upon later if needed to add a different dimension against tiring legs.

Keep it the same for me. It should be 7 on the bench today, so pick any 7 from those 8.poppyfield wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2019 11:11 amAgainst Boston we lined up as follows;

Re: Tamworth V Darlington Match Thread
Glad AA has a bigger pool of players to chose from. Whilst it would be nice to see some of the internationals back, they may not last the full 90mns due to jet lag, but at least the bench will be much stronger than we had for Boston which will give AA more options. Tamworth going well, so will be tough but hope the spirit the lads showed over the last few games stays with us and we get at least a replay.

O’Neill slips in Holness who very calmly slots into the bottom right corner. 2-0 Darlo!

Let’s hope we keep tight 2nd half. Tamworth had quite a bit of pressure 1st half

It’s wonderful pressing defending by Darlo which sees Tyrone pick it up around 30 yards out. He drives at goal and hammers home! 3-0 Darlo.

That may just be the greatest off the line clearance i’ve ever seen. Not sure if it was Hedley or Wheatley but wow... wait til you see that one on the highlights... (0-3).
