Shame Gillingham drew with Sunderland but I fancy our chances over the others. I mean it is two league one sides so shouldn't even be close but Sunderland are still Sunderland.

Players were immense today - hard to single any out for praise but the midfield three battled so so well Hatfield was absolutely everywhere.

We rode our luck at times but that is what we have to do against a team divisions above us. Shame we couldn't capitalise when we were on top (most of the first half and opening parts of the second).

You don't want to single people out but the second goal was very poor one to concede and Hedley had a torrid time against their left winger - the times they got to the by line and skied it.

We can beat them at home I am sure of it. Liddle coming back in will be a boost. Hope Connell doesn't beat himself up too much we got a result ultimately so that is what matters.

Tbh it does. TV cameras want that. We could do with the TV money to pay for our fines we have picked up today mind...

Hatfield, who was brilliant again, now has 5 yellow cards in all competitions. Does that mean a ban? I think it was his first in the FA cup today.

Rule change. Bookings are separate for league and cup, so it won’t be a ban.

Hatfield & Wheatley were outstanding. Only downside is I can see League teams will be after the pair of them now!

Connell has been magnificent in league and cup which made what happened all the more gobsmacking. I'm sure normal service now resumes because he's played a pivotal role in our upturn. I think he owes Wheatley a pint

I think so, flash scores has the fa cup replays down for next week. The week after and we'd be missing 3 players due to the internationals I think.

Omar was very good, as usual. I like this team a lot, and Omar is one of its overlooked gems.

David Johnston should have been happy with the turn-out. Now let's knock them out properly in the replay

Happens every time you get someone on loan and they are superb as soon as it`s made more permanent things go differently not to say he was bad but we were up against full time pro`s from 2 leagues above

Yup, should be in 10 days but flash score have it next week. So we are none the wiser.

Agreed omar has become integral to the teams formation. A gem who will get better.
