Jack Lambert
Jack Lambert
Signed on a months loan from Scunthorpe.Welcome to the club.
Re: Jack Lambert
Hope the lad has brought his shooting boots with him. If AA thinks Jack can do us a job, then he must have some talents.
Re: Jack Lambert
They don’t grow on trees unfortunately. AA went back in for Tyrone but that was a no-go. Newcastle had nothing to offer us either

Re: Jack Lambert
Understood but AA has known since the day Tyrone was signed that he'd have to be replaced. It's unfortunate that is sooner than he anticipated but hopefully replacement can be found soon. I am sure there us a lot of work going on behind the scenes.
Re: Jack Lambert
His plan was to transition to Gary Martin in January when he becomes “available” to register

Re: Jack Lambert
Sam is spot on. Unfortunately it hasn’t worked out the way AA planned. My understanding is that he’s tried/is trying everything to get a striker. Been about 2/3 months of trying.quakersam wrote:His plan was to transition to Gary Martin in January when he becomes “available” to register

Re: Jack Lambert
One ray of hope to come out of Brackley was the debut of Lambert in 2nd half (which we won)

Good to see he brought the two young lads on with 15 to go.

Armstrong was a bit nervous to start but soon grew into the game
Both look decent players for the future
Lambert played well I thought, not used to formation which is understandable but looks decent
