Darlington;
Darlington 2-1 Spennymoor; Darlington took the lead in the 25th min, an excellent turn, run and shot by Adam Campbell. Spennymoor equalised four mins later to make the score 1-1 at half time. Stephen Thompson’s penalty kick conversion was the 100th of his Darlington career in the 73 rd min after Sean Reid had been adjudged to being fouled.

Guiseley;

Gateshead;
Gateshead 2-3 Blyth; Gateshead fell at home to second bottom Blyth conceding a late third goal. Gateshead had fallen behind twice in the first half, equalising once but down 1-2 at the break. Despite a 48th min equaliser to make it 2-2, an 85th min goal for Blyth sank them. Gateshead fall two places to 11th.

Kidderminster;
Kidderminster 3-1 Hereford; Kidder got off to a 2-0 first half lead with goals in the 22nd and 29th min. Comments
2020 approaches and Darlington are moving up the table where dreams of playoffs can begin. The three straight wins over top half opponents (Chester, York and Spennymoor) are very encouraging for all Quakers fans. If they can continue this quality of football, and improve the negative goal difference, who knows.

Going for the league championship

In the playoff hunt, Darlington’s three straight wins and Spennymoor, Farsley, Boston and Gateshead all losing today has them joining the teams in the playoff hunt as 2019 is coming to an end.

The bottom half, teams that look too strong to be relegated, but too inconsistent to move towards the playoff group.

Avoiding relegation, but have to be wary if Blyth can put some results together after todays 3-2 win at Gateshead.

20. Curzon Ashton 21.. 5 2 5.. 0 3 .6. 22 32. -10.. 20

Hoping to avoid relegation, Blyth’s goal difference has them effectively five points back of Curzon Ashton.

I realise you are not in your home at the moment Ginge, but when will you be starting to give your predictions as to who is going to go up, who will make the play-offs & who is going to get relegated?

Darlo_Pete, I think I'm going to do more in depth analysis by February 1st, there is some movement right now, teams trending up include Brackley & Darlington, teams trending down Alfreton, Hereford, Gloucester, the slide of Tamworth in 2017/18 who went 1-6-7 in their last 14 games for a total of 9 points has to be in some minds, there is a 7 point gap for Gloucester, a 9 point gap for Alfreton and Hereford but a few wins for Blyth and the trap door could be right beneath these out of form teams.

My first impression with four months remaining of the season,
Champions; Kings Lynn
Qualifying for National League North playoff semi finals; York and Brackley
Qualifying for National League North playoff quarter finals; Chester, Southport, Spennymoor & Boston (Boston have only played 7 home games, against 12 away games)
On the outside looking in; Farsley, Darlington & Gateshead

Needs to be careful to avoid the drop; Alfreton, Hereford, Gloucester & Curzon Ashton
Destined to go down; Blyth (at this point) and Bradford P.A.

8-) Very grateful for your work on this thread it really helps get some idea of the bigger picture. I noted Blyth's result and it could be the toughest game over the Xmas period.

I think our game at Spennymoor is likely to be the toughest game over the festive period. I expect us to win tomorrow.
