Everton vs Telford, FA Cup 1985.
One of those that got away.
On BT Sport 3 now . . .

The magic of the cup
They did have a few off days though, good as they were. 5-2 at Chester springs to mind. Ray Simpson reporting for radio Cleveland. Showing my age !

Would be interested to know if any of our, let's say, more senior contributors were at the game. If so, were we as bad as the scoreline suggests?

I went on the footie special, but can't remember if we were as bad as the scoreline suggested.

My one and only time on the supporters coach. I don't remember anything about the game but I do remember, at 3 0 with about 10 mins to go, overhearing one of the old dears in the pie stall (although they were probably younger than I am now) telling her mate that she wished we would score a goal as we'd come a long way...it must be dire if the opposition staff are feeling sorry for you!!biccynana wrote:Would be interested to know if any of our, let's say, more senior contributors were at the game. Oh and the journey back was the longest ever...and put me off the coach for life
