Ryan Whitley

There’s a rumour that has surfaced on The Football Forum that we’re in for York’s goalkeeper, Ryan Whitley, on a loan deal.

AA mentioned a potential loan goalkeeper in his post-match interview after the Boro game.

It isn’t.

He is a good, young goalkeeper who is unlikely to dislodge Jameson at York who we all know is very good.

Please explain why it’s a load of rubbish, Harry?

Depends. You'd be more willing if there was a re-call clause and also a clause which states he doesn't play directly against York in the league and/or in the play-offs.

Who knows - but it wouldn't surprise me if a discussion has/is being had regarding his availability given our situation.

Unless the York fan you were speaking to was Steve Watson, that's just an opinion and nothing more.

Not heard Whitley mentioned at all, would be a surprise move really. If a loan then I would expect to come from one of the NE main three and most likely Boro.
