QTV today
Re: QTV today
Something like 950. Plus 1237 on 50/50.
Re: QTV today
Do Cambridge City get a share of the cash from the 950?
Re: QTV today
Believe so.
Clubs who can admit home spectators but not away spectators have to share their gate receipts.
It's only right that they would anyway. First and foremost their exies need to come out of match income and secondly otherwise competing is just a cost to them. It's not like a league game where there is a reverse tie.
Re: QTV today
Credit to QTV & DFR + their techie support team for bringing the game back to the fans.

Re: QTV today
According to DFR there were 92 Cambridge fans that tuned into the coverage, hope they enjoyed it as well, although not the end result.

First game I have watched via QTV - and I must agree the coverage was excellent. I didn't expect the action replays and more than one camera angle. Very professional!

We don’t know yet but I’d imagine that’s very likely.bigdavethemaddog wrote:if its a televised home game in the next round - but on BT Sports will that mean the stream via Quaker TV wont be allowed?
BT and the BBC paid for the FA Cup TV rights, so other clubs making money by streaming the same game wouldn’t go down too well.
Re: QTV today
You'd have thought there'll have to be allowances made for clubs to stream non televised games, or there'll be a number of clubs losing money in the first round.
Trickier might be those Sunday 'vignettes' where they're partially streamed live by the BBC. I know clubs get something for those games, but not a great amount so if clubs were banned from streaming those live then again a number of clubs might lose out.
Also, when matches are shown live does only the home team get the 75k because the away team at least gets a split of gate money? If that is the case then it may be wise this year to split the money otherwise if the away team loses they will get nothing as they don't get a cut of the money from live streaming which they would be entitled to were it not live on TV.

No last season both clubs got £75k. You get about half that for a replay, which is what we received for the Walsall home game.Vodka_Vic wrote: ↑Sun Oct 25, 2020 12:37 pmYou'd have thought there'll have to be allowances made for clubs to stream non televised games, or there'll be a number of clubs losing money in the first round.

Re: QTV today
Extended highlights on the Saturday got £6,750 per club but I presume could be reduced this year and no doubt I reckon they will allow streaming also (Only 1 game was selected for this last year).
8 games were selected for the Sunday show with 16 teams being paid £12,500 per club. Now will they allow these to stream as well or even do that this year.
With 4 live games getting £75k each for the 8 clubs.
All good money but everything matters on how the draw plays out tomorrow, nice to have these possibilities just before we draw Solihull Away and no one cares other than us.

How's your luck?
This might not be fully right, as It's not the simplest thing to see who was in the Northern Section in QR 1 and 2.
Anyway, the chances of us having 3 step 4 clubs or below at home in the previous games is approx. 1 in 450.
If we get one in the 1st round at home that's approx 1 in 50.
If we do actually get one, the chances of there being 4 step 4 teams or less in a row at home would widen to approx. 1 in 22,500. Now that would be going some.
