Would have been more than happy with 2-0 before the game but with the chances we've missed it should be 4-0. Still those opportunities are still there second half and we have the likes of Hudson and Levi to come off the bench and threaten.

Credit where its due I doubted Atkinson at CB before the game but actually he's been nice and aggressive in his play come out and met the ball each time. All be it not massively tested yet.

Really happy for Maguire to get his goal. Hopefully the first of many in a darlo shirt. Can tell hes still finding his feet after a long injury lay off but in possession he's been excellent tonight.

Hopefully add some more second half. But would equally trade that for a solid defensive performance and a clean sheet.

Thought Holness was having a good match. We're so much better with a midfield 3 of Wheatley, Hatfield and Holness, in a 4-3-3/4-5-1

Maybe time to get Hatfield or Wheatley off - avoid another injury or second yellow.

Others may disagree but I think he has only had a good 45 minutes in each of his previous two games so at least he's consistent! Then again what do I know about football.

I’d have Saltmer back in, I’ve not seen anything to say Minter is an upgrade in any way.

Commentators have made some good points about this season. Right across the pyramid teams picking up multiple injuries, very inconsistent performances, crazy scores.

Grobbelaar-esque antics leading to their goal.

I don't know that there's many players of his type who give you 90 minutes of skill. You get a creative 45, a lot of energy, and discipline in keeping the team's shape for the whole match and you'll call that a success for me

Distribution was iffy and was all over the place on the lead up to the free kick for their goal.

I’m not saying he’s no good off one performance, but nothing saltmer has done has meant he deserved dropping.

yeah agree with that
Wheatley MOTM for me
Not a sentence you would often hear but Laing defended solidly

One of the most one sided games I can remember. That's the system which suits us best I think - allows us to get a midfield of Hatfield, Wheatley and Holness on the pitch. Not many teams at this level can live with that energy and ability in the middle. The pressing from the front 6 stopped Guiseley from getting out. Nice to see Maguire get some minutes and goals - you could see him growing in confidence as the game went on. If we stick with 433, it's an interesting choice between Charman and Maguire when both are fit. Not a bad option to have..!

We played all the football in that game, played to our strengths against a big, tough side, nice one touch football and agree that Laing had a very solid game, and alongside Hunt you just never know.Omar brought balance to the midfield and AA has to stick with the three that started, that is our best formation. How Campbell did not get a hat trick only he knows but the league table makes for better reading.
Looking forward to getting Hunt and Charman back asap, but forgot to mention Jordan Watson who also was rock solid.
Happy days

Great performance against limited opposition, thought Hatfield had a great game in midfield. Excellent coverage although some replays would have been good.

Was Saltmer dropped or rested for Saturday? Melvin did make a great save right at the end on fairness.
