I am not sure who the official Man of the Match was on Saturday? I know this is usually decided before 90 mins. I thought he deserved it during the 90 mins and in particular, after the shoot out saves. Glad the loan has been extended.
Think Hatfield got it, but I'm with you - MM should have had it. What does a keeper have to do to win it - save 3 penalties in a single match?
Without igniting a big fight on here with people, Hatfield may well have had his best Match of the season as some believe, but for me he is short of the performances he was putting in last year.Yes an injustice MM should definitely have got it.jjljks wrote: ↑Wed Dec 23, 2020 7:25 amThink Hatfield got it, but I'm with you - MM should have had it. Thanks I'd forgotten about that I'll get my finger out next time and vote!Maurice_Peddelty wrote: ↑Wed Dec 23, 2020 9:20 amMan of the Match during the game is chosen by the match sponsor. However, if you want to vote for your Man of the Match, there is a post-match poll on YourClub, which is open to everyone registered on YourClub (not just DFCSG members). The result is announced on Twitter and MM got the vote on Saturday.
Completely forgot about this - great shout!Maurice_Peddelty wrote: ↑Wed Dec 23, 2020 9:20 amMan of the Match during the game is chosen by the match sponsor. As we said a month or two agoOld Git wrote: ↑Wed Dec 23, 2020 9:40 amGreat to have a keeper who can come and claim crosses it seems a while since we had someone who can do that well. Definitely eases the pressure on the defence to know you have a keeper who will do that.
Minter certainly has the physique to make a good goalkeeper but needs to know when to come out and when to stay on his line. Done well so far and from memory has conceded just 3 goals in 4 games and had no chance of saving any of them. You could argue that he was at fault for the goal at Guiseley as he conceded a free kick from which they scored but otherwise has been impressive.
However as any keeper knows make a mistake and that is what people will remember.
