Have declared they will not play Telford tomorrow or the rest of the season.

Slightly surprised that the money is not flowing .

Slightly surprised you started a new thread. Positivity about Spennymoor's strong stance elsewhere and all credit to them.

Actually I did not see it posted elsewhere on here.
Sorry I didn't check with you on starting a new thread, obviously I will in future 🙄

Agreed spenny have been rightly applauded for their recent stance and anyone trying to score cheap points by having a pop is way of the mark and just goes to show that complete knobs come in all colours ... if that’s the best you can do footifan it’s a shame about your return .

Well, you were "having a pop" however you disguise it. Unnecessary at a time when we should all be pulling together whichever team you support. It was a cheap shot.

So Spennymoor come out with a good statement about not wanting to play and now they're untouchable?

Anyone else notice the hypocrisy in accusing someone of having a pop and then calling them a knob all in the same sentence?

I think they should be applauded for their stance to be honest, and certainly shouldn't be met with sly remarks off the back.

Interestingly between the lines they actually acknowledge that they are fortunate to have a benefactor so it isn't necessarily a case of them being distraught financially.

They think it is wrong to put other clubs who aren't as fortunate in financial distress, and even if they are eligible for grants believe that there are better things to spend money on right now than non-league football.

Then again Ive never fully understood football fans obsessions with other clubs, seem to care more about them than their own clubs fortunes.
