Really frightening club loans

Post by Alfie » Mon Feb 22, 2021 9:53 am

Not the National League loans, but a series of loans to 'big' clubs from Cayman Islands based US companies

Mainly high interest loans secured on stadiums, training grounds etc.

Not surprised Derby are on the list. Their owner is seriously dodgy. They've been throwing money at getting out of that league for years with no obvious source of income to balance their FFP requirements.

If you are a fan of one of these clubs your views and support mean absolutely nothing. Our model is so much better.

The two worlds are totally different Derby will likely power on we as a club don’t have that type of funding and never will. We do need additional funding but until that happens then the league we are in likely keeps our fan base happy with the flirt of the odd cup run to add to the coffers.
