145 long days away unfortunately

Not sure why they're waiting till the middle of August for the NLN and NLS, could have stretched the season by another two weeks to start from the 31st of July and given clubs the benefit of an earlier and extra Saturday game each in good weather. But hey ho, the countdown begins.

See that the National League starts a week later on 21st which is a little surprising given they have matches to play. On the plus side the slightly later start may give us more of a chance of getting crowds in.

the play-off final isnt until 19th June so they have to account for that and need enough brainpower in between to sort the new fixture list out

Heaven help us all if we have to rely on the collective brainpower of the NL. On current form, they couldn't think their way out of a wet paper bag.
