to quote me "he made my second half"

Those few secs of coming on then going off were comedy gold in the terraces.

He made a half hearted effort to go after one ball and looked like he did himself an injury

Only at Darlo.....

Credit to SS for having the guts to sub him because I got the impression he did not want to come off.

Probably, although a few years back at Swansea, Swans brought a sub on (Boyd?) who ran straight into the box, twatted Gray/Liddle/Maddo (can't remember) and promptly got sent off without play ever re-starting.

No one have a go at a version of "You'll never walk.... again"???

Whelan... Whelan... with leg... in a cast...
And he'll never walk, again

Maybe a bit harsh perhaps

Apologies for bumping this from 7 years ago, but a Facebook status of mine popped up and reminded me that 7 years ago Noel Whelans dodgy hamstrings provided much needed laughter .
Chris Brass aside, funniest moment at the arena ?

Didn't I also read that he'd got himself in bother for homophobic tweeting about Brighton? Can't remember the full story or when it was (and I'm too idle to dig around to find out).
Alun's promise to the fans: “I’ll make sure I’ll bring players in that are value for money and I want players that want to play for Darlington Football Club, want to progress and move up the league and show the fans that passion.”

Wasn't it an away game at Dagenham?

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

That was the first hamstring injury. He was massively overweight also. The 35 second appearance was then at the Arena on his return from the first injury.
