...and the horse racing there is subject to inspection. Could it be another postponement?

Unless they had the covers on there would be no chance of playing. The horse racing is set for another inspection at 10am so if they call this off surely the game has no chance

If its touch and go go for horses worth millions in total, it should be OK for footballers worth 4 and 6 in total.

Not true. Inspection at noon. Already held one at 10.00. Much of the pitch is thawing but an area in front of the main stand that isn't.swadquaker wrote:Racing ON!. So no problem for football 2 hours later.

I'm sure that if there was a need for a pitch inspection it would have been held well before now, especially with our fans having such a long trip.

Well if you don't believe me, check Cheltenham's website.Darlo_Pete wrote:I'm sure that if there was a need for a pitch inspection it would have been held well before now, especially with our fans having such a long trip.
Poxy non-league club. I rang the club to check on the situation at 10.15 to avoid a long wasted journey and they simply have a recorded message saying tickets are available and the club's offices are closed until 9am on Monday.
