Karl Hawley signs for Notts County
A very useful signing in League Two. This lad was cracking at Carlisle.

Just wait and see on that one, everyone expected us to do that last season!willphil wrote:They might just walk the league

Early on, and during the early second half to the season, we were expected by most to win the league, unfortunately we all know what happened from there!
Re: Karl Hawley signs for Notts County
I seem to remember Shrewsbury being favourites at the beginning of last season, followed by Bradford (or maybe it was the other way round). This time last year most of us weren't expecting to do anything like that because of the supposed budget cut.Stu_1 wrote:Early on, and during the early second half to the season, we were expected by most to win the league, unfortunately we all know what happened from there!
We may have realistically been among the favourites towards the middle of the season, but claiming that everyone expected us to walk League Two is going a bit far I think. Wycombe were the only ones that ever looked like walking it, but as you said, look what happened to them. Basically, your point is a fair one, I think you've just given the wrong example.

I dont fancy them to win the league. I have had one of those bets where you pick who will win each of the four leagues and I had Rotherham down to win League Two.

Yep and a cracking midfield too, cash to splash and a major name to attract players. They're gonna have a superb season.ysj_quaker wrote:three proven goalscorers for this level is very useful, they are gaurenteed to score goals
Re: Karl Hawley signs for Notts County
It puzzles me why anyone would rate Luke Rodgers, he's shite. When was the last time he scored goals?
