2-0 down already, defensive error for 2nd.Same old, same and this is with 3 at the back.Sounds like Liddle at fault for 2nd and cannot understand how he gets his place tbh.

Sounds like the same issues as earlier in the season.

Same mistakes.

I think our defender headed it against his own player for the first one. Second one we messed about with the ball until we gave it away.

It was a nothing game and then we gift them like that twice in 3 minutes. Add to that our zero threat up front and I’m afraid relegation looks a formality. Hazel and Curry offer nothing. Salkeld and Hatfield only ones to come out with any credit so far. Still not sure why Salkeld is playing left wing back. This 352 isn’t working but I suppose nowt has so far

Trying to play it from the back for their 2nd according to DFR and got closed down.
Midfield seem to be getting overrun, what a bloody mess we are in.

No idea why Gowling has gone for Hazel and Curry Nick, no way should Nelson have been dropped for these 2.Early days but worried already about team selections and formations from our management team.

Apparently TT found out on social-media today that he had been dropped.

If true. it's nice to see a loyal player and ironically one of our best performers this season be treated with such contempt.

Scarborough are after a goalkeeper.

Listening to DFR and we sound poor feel sorry for Josh with this poor start normally teams pick up with a new manager.

I like the way this new manager talks, but seriously hope he isn't another Micky Morton who was at York, Morton did the talk, focused on the stats, but kept changing the team and could not get players playing in there best position or formations, or motivate the players. Just hoping he is able to organise the team quickly or we will be cut adrift soon, with a difficult rest of the season.
We have a few loans in for a month, which is not good to get a settled team, and not sure why Hazel rather than Nelson given the so called reliance on stats.
I made late decision not to go today as I suppose I lacked confidence in the team, may have made a good decision listening to the radio.

You can see why he was given the job as he no doubt came over very well in an interview.
I have serious doubts about him though. Can see it being a case of out the frying pan and into the fire.
Wonder why the new lad isn’t even on the bench?

Well, the club seemed really convinced that Gowling was their man and he was the stand-out over a quality list of applicants.

Concede most goals and score the least in the league equals relegation and currently thats us!

Very very poor with no sign of a “new manager” uplift. Stats are great but it’s on the pitch that counts.

Have we ever won a game playing 532, honestly not sure we have!!

He talks a good game. His track record is equivalent to Wright and he was fooking useless.

Perhaps the club became too caught up in interview performance rather than managerial accolades or statistics?

I'm not doubting the club though, I'm sure they all were very thorough in the process. Even our Football Secretary interviewed Gowling - very thorough indeed.

The second half there was absolutely hopeless. The team lack belief that they can do anything about this, and as a result are just hanging about after conceding until the final whistle goes. No spark, no drive, no creativity, sometimes left standing with the ball and nobody doing anything with it, just letting the opposition take it. The last goal was an embarrassment.

Nobody was talking, at one point when the ball was in our left back position Griffiths was the only one trying to organise people from 45 yards away.

A big part of this is confidence, but we also need a player who can pick up the ball and loves us up the field, as once we concede at the moment we don't have the creativity anywhere to actually start trying to unlock the opposition defence.

Why the new lad didn't play I have no idea but surely his profile is exactly what we missed today.

All deeply, deeply concerning.

We have to hold our nerve and give Josh some breathing space to turn things around. No need to reach for the panic button just yet. However, if anyone still thinks we are too good to go down they are deluded. He has a big job on his hands and we all need to stick together and get behind him.

Absolutely agree. As things stand we are not too good to go down, we are extremely likely to go down.

Huge confidence problem underpinning this, coupled with a horrific lack of creativity.
