Re: Tommy Taylor
Tommy sounds positive enough, hopefully the whole team is.
Come on Darlo!

Re: Tommy Taylor
Heaton I can't see the interview either, some fans must have inside info or I am being a bit thick, (not unusual for me mind
).

On facebook as well
Re: Tommy Taylor
Thank you, I am not on twitter or Facebook etc being an old codger so wouldn't have looked there

Re: Tommy Taylor
The Farsley captain thinks Darlo "still have a lot of good players" despite being rock bottom. Wonder how we'll stand up to the physical test that no doubt awaits. We'll need to be better at boths ends of the pitch to get anything.
Re: Tommy Taylor
This is Taylors chance to prove the manager wrong.Come on Tommy clean sheet.

50 years is right.theoriginalfatcat wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 9:48 am"state of mind"If he can't handle losing his place for a while he maybe needs another job.
I hope he has a good game too.
Taylor has being performing well individually, even when the rest of the team hasn't. Gowling dropped Taylor immediately, replaced him (for someone worse), and then tried to replace him again with another goalkeeper from York just this week. Taylor was also offered out to other clubs on loan or a permanent deal.
I appreciate the football industry operates in its own bubble, but in any employment, if your manager tries to replace you twice & then attempts to get you to leave the business, you are going to feel quite a bit less confident in your own ability.
The situation is, quite frankly, laughable if things weren't so desperate.

At least he has stayed positive and in his words is looking to turn a negative into a positive!Darlofan97 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 1:43 pm50 years is right.theoriginalfatcat wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 9:48 am"state of mind"If he can't handle losing his place for a while he maybe needs another job.

Ah, I see where this is leading - if Tommy has a good game tomorrow he completely vindicates himself. If he doesn't then it's Josh's fault.Darlofan97 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 1:43 pm50 years is right.theoriginalfatcat wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 9:48 am"state of mind"If he can't handle losing his place for a while he maybe needs another job.

Anyway 97, I've noticed that you never have a good word to say about Darlo. Everything you write is negative.
Even just now you've placed a negative post about the new goal keeping coach.
Why don't you just rein it in a bit? Or go and support NUFC?

How about you focus on what I am actually saying instead of getting personal (again).

Re: Tommy Taylor
I agree its a bit much, we do not need that type of relentless negativity (especially at the moment) its every single post, never a single good work or bit of encouragement at all.theoriginalfatcat wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 1:57 pmAh, I see where this is leading - if Tommy has a good game tomorrow he completely vindicates himself. Re: Tommy Taylor
Seems to me and others that you are not a positive poster on anything to do with what Darlington FC release everything is in a downward spiral with what you post critical of everything and everyone.give it a rest please.Darlofan97 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 2:00 pmHow about you focus on what I am actually saying instead of getting personal (again).
Your posts are irritating.be positive support the club man . negativity is no good for the clubs moral.

I do, that's what the problem is, your negativity is doing my head in.Darlofan97 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 2:00 pmHow about you focus on what I am actually saying instead of getting personal (again).
If you so dislike and so disagree with what's happening at the club then take a break or something.
I'm sure no one is happy with this years events, but s*** happens.
