One for the historians!
After their 1st 10 league games, which Darlington managers has had the best record, and which one has had the worst record?
My guess for the 'worst' would be Futcher D1 L9??

Not sure you can beat Futcher, although what was Colin Todd's record?

Guessing Martin Gray must be up there for the best first 10 games. I remember we lost at Guisborough fairly early on that season, but otherwise made a cracking start to the season. I know it was the Northern League, but don’t forget he had to start from scratch.

Ralph Brand took over in Dec 1972. his first 20 games yielded only one win, 7 draws and 12 defeats includind two successive 7-0 thrashings.

I think Todd first 10 was 8 defeats and 2 draws. That’s league only. Managed draws against Cheltenham and Grimsby.
Staunton was 8 defeats, 2 wins. Beat Shrewsbury &Burton.
