Great interview by Salkeld by Darlo Fans Radio too, worked his bollocks off today. Going to be a key player the second half of the season I feel.

Cracking result, really pleased with that! well done the boys and JG, hopefully will serve as a much needed confidence booster, I’ll raise a few glasses to that win tonight

Must have been a fair number of Darlo fans in that 891 crowd when you look at their previous attendances.

Wonderful, we can have realistic hope now. The players really showed some character after recent games and JG should be able to build on this - is this the pattern JG has referred to? It looked the business today -football bloody hell.

Big result and hopefully gives the squad the belief that they can go on and start picking up points on a regular basis. I know Farsley aren't the strongest side in the league but the boost to morale will be big.

There was a good 400 made the trip down. I was with a few York fans, that came along to support Darlo. They were quite surprised at how well we played especially in the second half. I'd give the MOTM to jointly both Burton & Hatfield, but to be honest there were quite a few players that MOTM could have gone too. Great atmosphere throughout the game and it was great to see the Farsley boys stuck out in the open for the whole game, as we took over their end. Fantastic result for Josh, let's hope fans get off his back, but as the saying goes 'one swallow doesn't make a summer'.

Outstanding to a man.

Fair play to Gowling. I thought he was too stubborn to revert from his 3/5 at the back.

Good to see Taylor & Hedley restored too.

It's interesting that 8 of the 11 today were Armstrong players. Most of the loans Gowling has brought in haven't been an improvement at all. Simms on the bench, Winfield not even in the squad. Maybe Gowling might slow down on his rapid recruitment and work with what he has.

Nothing to be getting too carried away about but we did the basics very well apart from a lapse in concentration for their goal. Pleased to see Gowling mention Salkeld and Hazel’s contribution as they both put a real shift in. Farsley are a really poor side, for them to be ahead of us does tell you how much we’ve lost our way. Hopefully we can turn a corner now.

The wannabe football managers who have been on Gowling’s back since day one can have a night off, happy days.

You can keep on having digs brother, but I have repeatedly called for us to ditch 3/5 at the back & for Taylor to be restored to the side.

He has above to be fair, everyone wants what’s best for the team. Many could see that 3 or 5 at the back wasn’t working and going back to basics with a flat back 4 is what we needed. Hopefully we see Taylor between the sticks for the remainder of the season too.

Onwards and upwards.

Wasn’t addressed at any one individual, more the huge section of our fanbase calling for the managers head after just a few weeks.

Credit to those who made trip.Team collectively did well &from DFR it was hard to pick a single MOTM. Hope we have turned the corner but worryingly we conceded against 10 men.

Decent result yesterday however one swallow does not make a summer. A win on Tuesday will be crucial.

Very true & don't forget they will have been briefed by Kaine Felix about our weaknesses. He will be keen to prove a point and up for the match. Hope we can continue to improve & grab another 3 points

Brilliant to get a win and by the sounds of it a real determination from every single player. Credit to JG, he saw the sudden freedom we played with against Spenny in last 15 when we ditched the wing backs, and played with a core of our experienced players.
Let’s be realistic though, we have beaten Farsley! Still think we need to reserve judgement until another 5/6 matches and see where we are. Hopefully, on the edge of getting out of the bottom 4.
Amazing following too must help the players enormously.

Felix wasn't in their squad on Saturday due to injury and is unlikely to play on Tuesday. Jordan Nicholson though is on his way back from injury. They've also got Dion Sembie-Ferris on loan from Scunthorpe to boost their attack.

If we can get something out of the next two games then our next target, to claw our way out of bottom spot, may be helped by the fact that Gloucester's next two matches are away to Scunthorpe and Brackley.
