Teams for tonight according to Spartansnet website were:-

Team was Mark Bell, Stephen Harrison, John Brackstone, Gareth Williams, Andrew Leeson, Darren Craddock, Chris McCabe, Stephen Turnbull, John Alexander, Ian Graham, Michal Tait. Subs: Ben Christensen, Keiron Wrightson, Adrian Webster, Josh Gillies, Chris Shanks, Richard Forster, Robert Dale, Shaun Reay, Dan Lowson.

Darlington: David Knight, Ben Starosta, Dan Groves, Gary Smith, James Bennett, Ian Miller, Mark Convery, Chris Lumsdon, Lee Thorpe, Dean Windass, Josh Gray. Subs: Michael Smith, Curtis Main, John McReady, Alex Robinson, Johnny Hewitson, Dan Riley, Tom Woodhead, Nick Liversedge.

Interestingly (or not) John Alexander also played against us for Billingham Town on Friday. Surely no coincidence that Tait was there and must have liked what he saw. See the keeper from Hull was also on the bench.

distinct lack of trialists tonight, i guess Todd must be spent up and hasnt got scope to bring much else to the club, convery must be nailed on to sign, if only to give us an option at right wing where we currently have no one.

no vaisenen in the squad either, with plummer injured if he'd still been in todd's plans surely he'd have been in the squad, looks like he wont be earning a contract then.

John Brackstone, Adrian Webster and Shaun Reay! Maybe we should re-sign them to join James, Convery and Vaisanen!
