It was mentioned he's coming back from anckle injury etc. But how fit was he coming into this game? I know he's never been the quickest of cats but he looked shockingly slow in this game.......

He played 45 minutes pre-season at Bradford PA and then 65minutes at Aldershot on Saturday so hasn't had much chance to build up his fitness. Thought he looked much fitter last night than he did on Saturday

He was pretty steady last night, although Miller was the pick of the two starting centre-halfs. I was surprised he started last night after having played an hour or so at Aldershot only two days earlier. It was a bonus for him to get another 60+ minutes in last night against superior opposition. Give him a couple more games and he should be starting to get back to full fitness.

He's not exactly the youngest defender around so we can't expect him to run rings around the forwards aha ..

Give him a bit more time and then he'll be back to his old self
