God this team is piss poor. The two lads from Sunderland are no better than what we have already. Knight Bower and Smith are all cack and apart from Miller Foster, Occasionally Thorpe and Lumsden - thats it from the starting 11. Main and Plummer are decent, but thats it. Windass' legs are gone even tho' you can see the quality, but i even turned to my mate and predicted he would miss the pen(yeah yeah i know its a 50/50 chance). I know before you all start ie what do you expect etc , but i sincerely hope we get a few more "decent" bodies in soon otherwise we will go down. No question. I desperately hope i'm proved wrong.

Got to be Jeff Smith who was shocking yesterday, pre season he looked like he would be a good plaer for us this year but so far he's been disapointing

i had a feeling all summer we would struggle because the players we got aint up to league 2 standards!
Thorpe was like 5th choice striker at rochdale last year, he's a poor man's barry conlon
lumsden is going to take a while to get up to his good standards as he was injured most of last year
knight is an awful keeper, liversedge is probs better
foster and windass are past it unfortunately

i mean todd did well signing the players so we could play games but we need some new bodies or we will go down

oh and ive got a friend who is a hull city fan said we play James Bennett and Matty Plummer

How is Foster past it? He's still recovering from his injury. Knight is far from an awful keeper. He's very much in the Sam Russell mode. Looks good at shot stopping, good distribution, dodgy at crosses. A very typical L2 goalkeeper.
