Tevez (Ugly 11)

Post by Kentquaker » Thu Jul 16, 2009 7:20 am

Did anyone see a gurning Tevez gripping his new Manchester City shirt. It reminded me of old man Steptoe and wondered if anyone had any thoughts about a football Ugly 11.
Here's mine.

Van der Sar, G. Neville, P. Neville, Jack Charlton, Tevez, Alec Smith, Ian Dowie, Kuyt, Rooney, Nobby Stiles, Malcolm MacDonald.

Without doubt the Neville family have been hit many times with the ugly stick and for those younger posters Alec Smith was a Darlo No 5 of the seventies who had a face you would never get sick of kicking!

Your ugly 11 looks based around a dislike for Man Utd
I was going to show my ugly team then I looked in the morror and decided I had no room to talk.

Can't believe that Van Der Sar has been picked as the keeper of an ugly 11. Surely without doubt that honour should be reserved for Steve Ogrizovic?

What would be of real value would be a Darlo Ugly XI. Who knows, next Halloween Darlo fans could be dressing up their children as ugly-b******-Darlo-alumni.

I will start us off with:

Steve Tutill (Def)
Phil Brumwell (Right Back)
Steve Gaughan (Mid)
Marco Gabbiadini (Str)

I can't think of anymore. Being beautiful makes it harder to picture the aesthetically challenged :D

He'll be in good company at Man City with Richard Dunne as his team mate!

You've got to add Steve Ogrizovic to that list, plus any any player who puts on a Hartlepool shirt should get automatic entry!!!

The Quakers ugliest player has to be between Stevie Gaughan and Brian Atkinson
