Having seen this on the favourite song intro thread I thought it deserved it's own.

EMF - Unbelievable
Here's a few good one hit wonders.
Harvey Danger - Flagpole Sitta (Trust me you'd know it if you heard it)
LEM - Steal My Sunshine.
Republica - Ready To Go.
Some may argue they also had "Drop Dead Gorgeous" but I think people are more likely to remember them just for Ready To Go.

The Sundays - Summertime.
Greatest crime ever that they only had 1 "mainstream" top 40 hit.

Neandathal man by Hotlegs (later became 10CC so don't know if it can be called a one hit wonder)
Spirit in the sky by Norman Greenbaum
San Francisco by Scott McKenzie (don't think their was a follow up)
Eve of destruction by Barry Maguire
Showing my age with these great (IMO) songs

Two double platinum albums would suggest they were more than one hit wonders!
They did release other singles than Every Morning.

Name one that I'd know lol.
Papa Roach have released about 3 albums but I'm pretty sure if you asked anyone to name a Papa Roach song they'ed say "Last Resort".
I suppose in terms of one hit wonders it's a song which captures the zeitgeist

Indeed they did - that was the follow up single.
They're still going strong (ish) now in the US.

Neither were The Mock Turtles or EMF or Soul Asylum but hey, they are just minor details that the young uns don't need to worry themselves about.

I could bang a load of one hit wonders out but I would only get BishopQuaker begging for a youtube link.
2 reasons why I wont is
1- I am over 20 so dont know how to do that
2- Bishopquaker should be turning his eyes square basking in the delights of his FREE hd box
Waiting for Raj to shaft them!
