i had a bet at the start of the season off a mate that man ure dont win anything this year, he give me 10/1. £10 on. well they are out of the carling cup, behind in the league(although catchable) they play man city in the 3rd round of the fa cup, and not could go out of the champions league, getting beat so far 1-0 by basel

i also think its wrong if you get kicked out champions league you get to have a 2nd chance at a cup in the europa.

"To be fair" you have just made an absolutely ridiculous statement. Winning probably the best league in the world by 9 points is not lucky at all. Coming back from 1 or 2 down has nothing to do with luck, neither does the fact that other challengers fail to win some of their matches.

Agree with the statement that they've gone to pot since the City hammering. Still wouldn't back against them winning something though.

I had £10.97 (what was left of my Willhill account) on them, West Ham and Crawley winning the league this season at around 110/1. Crawley and West Ham both look good value... not sure about United though. If I'd put City on instead I could have been on for 4 or 5 grand...

the bet was made on the 2nd week of start of the season. community shield doesnt count (we knew this at the time) any way its not a proper cup, like a competition.
its like these stupid 4 team cups , like the emerites cup they play for in friendlies before the season.
