Wanting to buy a decent camera, but second hand -does anyone think these are any good advertised on gumtree???

I would go for the D5000. But that's because Nikon are my preferred camera choice. (The D200 represents very good value for money, but is a heavy camera.)

I still use a Nikon D50 & F50. But to be fair, there's nothing wrong with any of those three cameras that you have picked.

There's plenty of reviews online to read up on.

Took the plunge into the DSLR world about 6 month ago - any of those 3 would be very good, i got the canon 650D and its superb - thing is you start to spend a fortune on more lenses and accessories !
