The best value shops in Darlo

Post by Darlo_Pete » Mon May 18, 2015 12:31 pm

I'll start off with the best value sandwich shop and fish and chip shop.

Deli Stop which is a new sandwich shop opposite the main Post Office on Crown St. You can buy a sandwich in a choice of buns for £0-99.

Darlington Fish and Chip shop next to the East End Club on Neasham Road is an absolute bargain, £4-95 for fish and chips and the fish is massive or I think £6-95 for a large fish and chips which is huge. The fish is really tasty as well. The only down side is that they only cook to order, which can take a few minutes, but at least it shows that everything has been freshly cooked.

I work in Aycliffe and usually do a bit of shopping at Lunch time - was gutted today when I found out poundstretcher was shutting - where am I going to get me cheap Lucozade and fizzy sweets from now?

Perhaps it was a bit pricey for the Newton Aycliffe posse. :D Does Aycliffe have much of a shopping centre these days, apart from Tesco's?

There's a great bargain store at the top of Valley St in Darlo. It's great for cheap bikes, TV's, fridges, etc.
