Re: RIP Jungle
I'm well aware of who Jungle was or wasn't Pete but his good far outweighed his misdemeanours. All of us have of our moments.Darlo_Pete wrote:He wasn't always good.charlie wrote:Fitting send off for a good blokeSussex07 wrote:That was some turn out for his funeral, hundreds of bikers as well..RIP junglecharlie wrote:Condolences to his loved ones

Re: RIP Jungle
I agree, but to paint him as almost a saint is OTT in my opinion, given his past.
Re: RIP Jungle
I don't believe anybody has painted him as a saint , a good person with a heart of gold yes but not a saint. Jungle was certainly a colourful character.Darlo_Pete wrote:I agree, but to paint him as almost a saint is OTT in my opinion, given his past.

Re: RIP Jungle
Completely unnecessary snipe at a bloke who was known far more for the good he did and will be missed by many. Classy.Darlo_Pete wrote:He wasn't always good.charlie wrote:Fitting send off for a good blokeSussex07 wrote:That was some turn out for his funeral, hundreds of bikers as well..RIP junglecharlie wrote:Condolences to his loved ones

We're all entitled to our opinions, I respect yours and hopefully you'll respect mine.
Re: RIP Jungle
I don't think it's a case of respecting your opinion or not - it is more whether those opinions needed to be publicly aired given the circumstances.
Re: RIP Jungle
I agree we're all entitled to our opinions , however in this case given that Jungle was a family friend then no in this instance I can't respect your opinion.Darlo_Pete wrote:We're all entitled to our opinions, I respect yours and hopefully you'll respect mine.
Ill timed comment, I don't expect your opinion to change - that's your prerogative but ill timed

Re: RIP Jungle
I think it's time to lock this thread before people descend into arguments onto a well-intentioned thread.
Regardless of what people might think of him, Jungle is no longer with us and people should show some respect.
RIP.
