I'm well aware of who Jungle was or wasn't Pete but his good far outweighed his misdemeanours. All of us have of our moments.

I agree, but to paint him as almost a saint is OTT in my opinion, given his past.

I don't believe anybody has painted him as a saint , a good person with a heart of gold yes but not a saint. Jungle was certainly a colourful character.

Completely unnecessary snipe at a bloke who was known far more for the good he did and will be missed by many. Classy.

I don't think it's a case of respecting your opinion or not - it is more whether those opinions needed to be publicly aired given the circumstances.

I agree we're all entitled to our opinions , however in this case given that Jungle was a family friend then no in this instance I can't respect your opinion.

Ill timed comment, I don't expect your opinion to change - that's your prerogative but ill timed

I think it's time to lock this thread before people descend into arguments onto a well-intentioned thread.

Regardless of what people might think of him, Jungle is no longer with us and people should show some respect.

RIP.
