Darlo Running Clubs

Post by PierremontQuaker03 » Sat Oct 03, 2015 1:44 pm

Just wondering if there were the only 2 running clubs in Darlo i.e. Harriers and Quakers?
Anyone no of any others?
Still deciding which one to join, but being a geek I like to know all my options before making a decsion :geek:

Quite a few Darlo fans at the Harriers right now, so add that to your decision making criteria!

There loads of runners in the west end on a Tuesday evening, I think they are from the Quakers running club.

Picked this up late. The advice I received was the Harriers is largely track and field whereas the quakers club is more fell and road running. The latter was formed after the demise of the cleveland bridge club.

Thanks for the info.
Not sure what to do really.
I prefer to run first thing on a morning and I also have a little kid so I like to spend time with him in the evening after work.
I am getting to the point where I have plateaued with my running so I am going to try some interval training - does anyone know if you can use the Eastbourne track at 6am in the morning? I suppose I will contact them to ask.
