Gordie Howe has died aged 88. Played in 5 decades of NHL All Stars games, but only ever scored one Gordie Howe Hat-trick (1 goal, 1 assist, 1 fight).

Not a good month for sporting legends. With Ali passing last week and Howe passing this week, Barry Conlon will probably want to stay indoors next week.

Before reading this thread, I'd only come across the name 'Gordie Howe' once before - on The Simpsons.
