Clubs you support around Europe.
I follow from a distance, various clubs around the European Leagues. The teams that I look out for are:-
France---St. Eitenne & Guingamp
Belgium---Club Brugges & Cercle Brugge
Holland---Ajax & Den Haag
Germany---Borussia Monchengladbach
Italy---Atalanta
Greece---AEK Athens
Spain---Real Mallorca
Portugal-Maritimo
So who do you support around Europe?

AZ Alkmaar and Újpest FC

Supporting DARLO might be a heartache but it's a heartache I chose to have.

I have a soft spot for AC Milan as I used to always play with them on Pro Evo 3 when I as at Uni.
Aside from them I don't really follow other clubs in Europe.
I barely follow AC Milan! I just like to see them doing well

Hertha Berlin for me.
I've also a soft spot for Barcelona, only because i've been there to see them and toured the Nou Camp and was very impressed.

Used to watch Borussia Monchengladbach fairly regular when I was a kid, and my dad was stationed in Germany (I'm an Army kid!). For the same reason used to watch Fortuna Sittard in the Dutch league. They had a very small. but dedicated and vocal element of English (mainly military) expats who followed them, as they were one of very few clubs who had an English player. Phil Gray (who used to play for Sunderland).
I still look out for their results!

I was at the one a couple of weeks ago... I take it you don't mean that one though?darlotoon wrote:Barcelona for us too , goes back to when Bobby Robson went there as manager , we went to their derby game earlier this year.
I wouldn't say I really support any of the following (Dunfermline a little bit), but I do keep an eye on them:
Scotland - Dunfermline
Germany - Arminia Bielefeld
Spain - Barcelona/Espanyol

No , the one back in February , Keita got sent off and Iniesta was injured , Barca lost.Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the museum was really good.Like the whole ideal of Barca being owned by the members .Hawkeye wrote:I was at the one a couple of weeks ago... SKS Starachowice and Slask Wroclaw in Poland
Viktoria Zizkov in Czech Republic
The former teams because of family and friends, the latter because the Zizkov area of Prague is my favourite drinking/party area in all Europe.

Germany - Dortmund
Spain - Espanyol
No real ties but I've followed them both since enjoying home games on holidays. Dortmund's stadium is possibly the best I've ever seen. Espanyol's old stadium had zero atmosphere but the most scenic walk you could ever have to a football ground, would love to visit the new one at some point this year.
