Re: Newcastle United
Absolutely not, I can't imagine many people would apart from Newcastle fans or people that follow them. Unfortunately I do think that they will get promoted.

No, and if West Brom win there on Saturday it will throw the title race wide open. The way Forest are playing they'll be in the top 2.
Re: Newcastle United
I want them to go up again this season. OK, I don't like their "big club" mentality, or a lot of their fans, but I actually like quite a few of their players and am glad Chris Hughton's getting a fair crack.
Forest will finish 2nd behind them. Their demolition of WBA the other night was superb. Only downside of that is that Billy Davies is a complete c***.

Re: Newcastle United
Billy Davies was a C*** ........when he was at Derby !
Forest have outclassed Newcastle and West Brom and if you look at our next 5 home games theres 9,12 15 points to be had ? Actually i would like Newcastle to go up and Boro as long as its not at the expense of Forest, i think its good to have all 3 North East sides in the Prem

I hope they stay down for a few years until their fans get a reality check.

Beat me to it, i hate the Newcastle fans, they automatically think they have a god given right to be in the premiership. Twats.Santino wrote:I hope they stay down for a few years until their fans get a reality check.

I'd much prefer United to go up if meant Forest stayed in the Premiership.KCChiefs wrote:No, and if West Brom win there on Saturday it will throw the title race wide open. The way Forest are playing they'll be in the top 2.

Stayed in the Premiership ?
Re: Newcastle United
Yes.
I've got nothing against them and generally like to see north-east sides to do well.
Yes they've got daft over-ambitious fans, but so what? I can deal with that far better than whining Liverpool fans or fake Chelsea fans etc.

Re: Newcastle United
The success of the "big 3" can only be detrimental to our support, the better they are the more our catchment area is raped of potential new Darlo fans. If all 3 suddenly became the new Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal we'd be goosed, whatever fairweather floaters we have left would float off after the glory raising their children to follow suitfat tony wrote:Yes.

If all 3 of those clubs suddenly were dumped in league 2 with no cash, fans would leave in their hoardes and the Darlo and surrounding area based gloryhunters might just rethink where their loyalties lie.
For those reasons I can't wish any of them do well. Strangely enough I imagine the existence of Hartlepool doesn't affect us at all, I can't see either club poaching each other's suport whatever league they may be in . If anyone I should be wishing Hartlepool well as a North East club but won't due to reasons that need no explanation.

Re: Newcastle United
Never understood the "s*** fans" argument, probably the most loyal (to the club) and passionate fans in football. They usually try to play football in the right way and despite what others have said they are a big club with one of the best fan bases in the country. The premiership is certainly a better place with them in it.
Re: Newcastle United
Might be something to do with the fact that a large portion of them are deluded, shirtless buffoons.
