Tech help please

I know we have some tech savvy people on here, unfortunately I’m not one of them.
So a bit of help please, I intend moving from virgin media to sky, but i am worried about losing my emails ,
On the virgin site it says I will lose my email account after 90 days.
As I have Gmail will that be lost or is gmail separate, tried looking at various sites but the information is (for me ) confusing and contradictory.
Any help much appreciated.

As far as I'm aware, Gmail is independent as Google mail, so your service provider is irrelevant.

I'm on Gmail and have changed my service provider from Virgin to BT. with no issue. apart rom BT internet is crap.

Thanks for that, virgin media is ok its just getting way to expensive.

I seem to recall that they changed from one TC to the NP205 around 69 not to mention the trans. You may want to figure out which of each you have.
