Worst film you've ever seen

Post by cwisstoffhur » Sat Jan 15, 2011 9:16 am

I was unlucky enough yesterday to purchase a film called dragon wars for £1.99 expecting it to be hilariously bad....it was not and everyone in the flat came to an agreement that it was the worst film we'd ever seen.

There were dreams within flashbacks within a story within a flashback which made the plot more confusing than inception and impossible to follow, when you think you're on track with what the hell is going on one of the characters wakes up and the whole last 10 minutes was all just a dream. As for the dragons....well they're probably in the hour and a half long film for all of 20 minutes which for a film about dragons in epic battle is a bit pathetic.

Armageddon.

Saw that on a long coach trip once, didn't think it was that terrible although I hadn't slept for a day so that might be why

The King Kong remake with Jack Black is up there for me. The only film I've ever walked out of the cinema during, bored the arse off me.

The Devil's Rejects
Devil

Wow, just realised two of the worst ever films I've had the misfortune to witness both contain the word "devil". Weird!

Seconded. I watched this with the OH the other night and it had the same effect on me as my sleeping pills. Didn't they make a sequel to it as well?

Sorry, totally disagree.

I saw Armageddon mentioned further up. As a general rule, disaster movies are all shite. The Day After Tomorrow, 2012 and Volcano are all terrible. Armageddon is one of the better ones to be honest.

Deep Blue Sea is a good film, Samuel L Jackson's rant just before being eaten is fantastic.

Also, I thought the Devil's Rejects was complete shite too.

I wasn't talking about disaster movies in conjunction with Napoleon Dynamite - that would just be stupid. I assumed that it was clear enough that I was referring to something completely different in the second paragraph, but evidently I was mistaken. If you had read the rest of the thread you would have seen Armageddon mentioned further up, which is a disaster movie, hence my tangental reference to other disaster movies.

Seriously? I thought that was the only reason they made it 3D.

High Plains Invaders, some mental s*** that was on the SyFy Channel last night. Set in the wild west about some giant insect type things that fire bullets and get high sniffing uranium. For some reason I watched it to the end even though it was utter shite. It's on again on Thursday if anyone's interested!

i actually liked 'Cube' as it was something a bit different.

The worst film ive ever seen was on the horror channel. SS Doomtrooper.

Shockingly bad CGI that a SNES would laugh at. Seriously, check this one out just for the monster alone.
