Think Leicester Forest East are the most popular stop offs for buses going south.

Like many others, I'm going down in the car on Friday night.

Driving as far as Bedford and stopping at my mam's place on Friday and Saturday nights. Train from there to Wembley though.

I'll have a full car going down on the morning, scarves also out of the windows. Probably setting off at 7ish. Hopefully won't need to stop at any services. I reckon once we pass Mansfield the motorway is going to get pretty busy, so leave yourself plenty of time just in case there are any hold ups.

I'm travelling down on Saturday in the car with my 11ths yr old. Was gonna set off at 8 but I guess I might make it earlier as everyone seems to be setting of at 7. Not really thought about about a stop off, probably just stop when nature calls or we are hungry.

That's brave taking such a young child with you, although I guess you hope that they'll sleep most of the way. I think if you leave at 8am your asking for trouble and surely part of the experience is to get there in good time, in order to soak up the special atmosphere.

As above. Leaving Friday morning. Get set up at the hotel near Wembley and then take the kids to Legoland, or something, in the afternoon. Food, drinks in the bar (hopefully with other Darlo fans), before brief visit to bed and all you can eat breakfast, before the pinnacle of my last ten years as a Darlo supporter :) :shh:

All you can eat breakfast - must be Premier Inn? Harrow, or did you get in the Wembley one?

Oh yeah, you are the one that took MY room :x

Mind you it's £15 to park your car there for 24 hours on an event day, but it's free at the one I'm staying at.

I've given them a ring and your room was number 1352 and some bloke called Bassett booked the room twenty minutes before you tried.

The Premier Inns all you can eat breakfasts are excellent.Had one at Tewkesbury not too long back, ended up having about 5 sausages, 4 rashers of bacon, mushrooms, beans, toast, croissants, grapefruit segments and coffee. (Was too stuffed to eat the muffin so put it back).
Felt like I'd swallowed a beach ball afterwards, but worth every penny.
