Mansfield have an "Austin" problem of their own....

Just seen this on Stod's Twitter - it seems they had two players out on loan during the semi-finals that THEY can't use in the final either!

Briscoe, Smith & Probably Cain could also play upfront.
Briscoe is our top scorer anyway!

I would suspect so, considering Sandwith, Preece & Day are all injured, he's one of two centre halves we've gottdk1 wrote:Will Fozzie play?
I reckon we'll line up like this...
4-4-1-1
Marriott
Silk
Foster
Naylor
Spence
Cain
Nix
Thompson
Briscoe
Murray
Connor

Dunno how I feel about that really. I mean, we all think the bloke's brilliant, but seeing him playing at Wembley for another team might be a bit weird. Ah well, so long as he doesn't knack any of our players like he did in the game at our place, then I'm sure I'll get over it with a couple of beers.

Connor is fit and well as far as I'm aware.
Foster running out at Wembley, not only for a different team, but for the team he supports and loves

He could return to training, they reckon, so that'll pretty much be a no. But then, adrenalin is probably a decent enough source of fitness on the day

Adrenalin counts for nothing if your calf is fucked!! If its as bad as they made out then he'll be able to hobble quicker on adrenalin!tdk1 wrote:He could return to training, they reckon, so that'll pretty much be a no. But then, adrenalin is probably a decent enough source of fitness on the day
Re: Mansfield have an "Austin" problem of their own....
So we reckon he'll last about two minutes then hobble off then? Or, as it's known in the trade, 'do a whelan'.

When I saw this thread I had images of Stone Cold causing havok in Mansfield.
I'm slightly disappointed.
