TFM saying a deal will be done to help local companies that have lost out - as long as it does not include he who shall not be mentioned
Re: The Press Conference Thread
I'm liking the cut of Denis Pinnegar's jib.

TFM - Pinneger from Darlo 1883 says club is now sustainable! Not a pheonix club because they have bought assets from Darlo 2009

We bought the name, the history, the badge, the domain names, the IP etc. of the club - so 1883 is a continuation of our (sometimes) proud history (among other stuff).

Re: The Press Conference Thread
Wouldn't it make more sense for them to go back to the press conference rather than talking over it? What a joke BBC Tees are today. Where is big ray when you need him?!

Super pleased we're still the same club, will be playing next season, and am optimistic for the future, regardless of what division we have to start in.
Shame about doing a year out of town, but if theres a definite plan to come back after then I will happily reinvest plus a couple of hundred extra. Well done to all involved.

So now we know nothing new because BBC Tees would rather talk to the mayor of Yarm about fucking car parking.

"Super pleased"? Did being banned from here mean you spent your spare time watching Glee?Mazz Javerick wrote:Super pleased we're still the same club, will be playing next season, and am optimistic for the future, regardless of what division we have to start in.

100% agreed, but with a few more expletives.

I think there's been a bit of confusion here! I meant the FA decide which league we go in! Obviously where we play is down to us!princes town wrote:No they have no jurisdiction on this as far as I am aware. As long as the ground is classified correctly we go there.quaker4life wrote:Actually I believe it's the FA who make that decision, but we'll see.princes town wrote:We'll decide on that one.quaker4life wrote:Just a matter of waiting to see where the FA decide to place us.

Re: The Press Conference Thread
I hope we can sort out the creditors (one obvious exception aside), even if it takes a few years. It sounded like the players have agreed to something, but I didn' hear what it was. I hope we can pay back the businesses we owe (or even DFC 2009 owe), or at least send extra business their way.
Thankfully, we are onto more pressing matters-parking in Yarm!!

I presume that also means any future monies from Dan Burn etc too?herts_darlo wrote:We bought the name, the history, the badge, the domain names, the IP etc. of the club - so 1883 is a continuation of our (sometimes) proud history (among other stuff).
So many questions, hopefully now WE are owners they can all be answered transparently. I understand the need previously when WE did not own the club, but surely nothing stopping that now?
Re: The Press Conference Thread
Because they aren't listening. They didn't even ask what assets 1883 now own. Do we defo own the transfer clauses ? How about players under contract such as the YT?Fibonacci0112358 wrote:DarloOnTheUp wrote:What's going on??

Typical BBC Tees, have not got a clue. Just like the last admin it was a new company yet the same club, not hard to get your head around is it, ffs!
In other news, get the fuck in Well done everyone connected with 1883; Tori, Craig, Dennis, Laura and everybody else. A special mention for the players and Craig Liddle who have been absolutely phenomenal!
Now this is ours lads and lasses. What we put in we get out!

Re: The Press Conference Thread
Obviously the players were contracted until July and a couple beyond so there would have had to be a settlement on the final couple of months that they were owed. I think that was the jist of the £100K question that was the latest stumbling block.al_quaker wrote:I hope we can sort out the creditors (one obvious exception aside), even if it takes a few years. As Denis Pinnegar says there is no debt carried forward it would be interesting to know how that has been settled and also what it cost to buy the assets and where that money has come from?
