My brother had a few quotes from there and has went elsewhere purely because of the prices.

Because looking purely at the prices is the best thing to do when getting something inked permanently onto your body, isnt it?

There are some dense fuckers out there.

Skin deep are no good according to plenty of people who have been and had to go elsewhere for touch ups etc. cocky and unhelpful. Newcastle/Boro are usually worth the travel and have better artists too!

Hype in Newcastle is the best I've found.

Not a fan of Skin Deep.

Had them done at Skin Deep in the past, i now travel to Thirsk to ruby arts, they also have a shop in Ripon. Mick Shaw there does some fantastic work. http://www.rubyartstattoos.co.uk/

Try Inkcanations in Shildon. Had a couple done there. Always busy though.

Price is the last thing to think about when getting some ink. People getting tattoos from a model van cos its cheap are the worse care of people.

Inkcantations are very well regarded locally, but not sure if you'll get an appointment at short notice. They often have a waiting list, which has to be a good sign!

Fat panda is in the town centre round the corner from the pound shop near sports direct. Alex bage who owns it is very good but probably has a nearly 6 month waiting list. The 2 other apprentices in there are also very good and starting to build a very good reputation also.

A guy called Martin (Life Line Ink tattoo studio) in Newton Aycliffe is someone i would recommend, he did my latest tattoo a couple of a month ago and let's say it stands out a LOT more than the one's i have had done from skin deep, i will be getting my Darlo Badge done by him in the future for when i decide it's location on me

some of Martin's work is on hs facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/LifeLineInkTattooStudio

Skin Deep is terrible. the one in Aycliffe near Blakes is quite good.
