could be something as simple as wearing a blue t-shirt (as this is the colour for autism awareness)

Won't be there for the last game but happy to chip some money in.
You might get a few more people to look at this thread if you rename it something like "Poll - Last game theme day in aid of autism awareness"

Still to be determined, I think. That was the original idea but it's also a great PR opportunity for the club to do a bit of community outreach.ted_do wrote:As long as all fund raising is going to support the football clubDarl@ G wrote:could be something as simple as wearing a blue t-shirt (as this is the colour for autism awareness)
Can't do either without publicising and getting support for it, hence the...

Don't shoot me down here but could we not think of another charity? IMO wearing blue wouldn't go down well with most Darlo fans for obvious reasons and also everyone dressing up as superman? That's a bit like stealing the Poolies idea, just my personal opinion.

Re: Idea/Theme for last home game of the season (2)
I don't think there is an issue with the charity, just the colour. I can imagine the comments we'd get from our 'friends and neighbours' over on the Bunker....along the lines of how we aspire to be a league club so much that we've taken to wearing our local rivals' colours to fantasize about it etc etc etc...you get the drift.
Come on Darlo!

This doesn't really interest me. As keen as I am to support charities, I already donate in other ways, so if there was any donations at the footy, i'd sooner it be for DFC.
A colour scheme? I don't know. How about if everyone was to say dress in black and white hoops?
